About The Position

The Centers is seeking Full-time School-Based Behavioral Health Therapists to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with persons served and other providers to assure that the mental, emotional, and psychosocial needs of clients are addressed. Services are primarily provided in the school/community/home with the availability of telehealth as clinically indicated.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, or Counseling with an LSW/LISW or LPC/LPCC in good standing in the state of Ohio
  • A valid driver’s license in the State of Ohio with access to an insured vehicle for client transportation.
  • Must not have a 6-point violations and ability to obtain and maintain bodily injury/property coverage of $100,000/$300,000

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with school personnel to identify students needing behavioral health services and facilitate the referral process.
  • Contact and meet parents/caregivers of children who have been referred for behavioral health services for the purpose of intake, consent to treat, and psychiatric diagnostic evaluations.
  • Provide individual counseling, therapeutic behavioral support, parent guidance and family interventions.
  • Provide group counseling/therapeutic behavioral support/prevention groups as needed.
  • Integrate behavioral health with the client’s health needs and refer for appropriate medical, dental, psychiatric and other psychosocial service needs.
  • Responsible for the timely completion of clinical documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Meet productivity expectations.
  • Opportunity to become trained in Early Child Mental Health screenings, assessment/diagnosis, and provision of community-based consultation and/or therapeutic services during summer months with youth (0-5) and their families.
