About The Position

Woodfords Family Services has an immediate opening for a School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) in the MSAD 52 School District. This is a full-time position and includes a competitive benefits and compensation package. The role involves supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a school setting. Woodfords Family Services is a nonprofit organization with over 55 years of experience supporting individuals with special needs and their families. The agency offers a wide array of clinical, educational, behavioral health, residential, community, and family support programs throughout Maine and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience (paid or volunteer) working with children.
• BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords).
• Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle.

• Experience with the special needs population preferred.
