Centerstone is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison Therapist to provide consultation to classroom teachers, assist in creating positive, trauma-informed classroom environments, and enhance the learning environment for children at risk of developing emotional/behavioral problems or substance use disorders, or with serious emotional disturbance (SED). The role involves training and education on childhood mental health and trauma-informed behavior responses, providing psycho-educational groups, and acting as a liaison between families and schools. The therapist will also assist parents and youth with the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process and trauma-informed support plans when invited. This is a 10-month position paid over 12 months, with flexibility during the summer months and potential for additional income or time off.
