About The Position

Clarvida is hiring a School‑Based and Outpatient Mental Health Counselor in New Kensington , PA. This full‑time role offers competitive hourly rates, travel compensation, and opportunities for licensed clinicians to earn more than the non‑licensed scale. As a School‑Based Mental Health Counselor, you will provide individual and family therapy inside schools and the outpatient clinic, maintain timely clinical documentation, ensure compliance with state/local regulations, and travel between school sites or appointment locations—all aligned with Clarvida’s person‑centered, trauma‑informed care model.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar clinical field from an accredited institution
Verified clinical practicum or internship completed
Licensed (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in Pennsylvania OR willing to work under non‑licensed rate if license is not held
Willingness to travel between school and appointment sites (up to 100% travel possible)

Responsibilities

Provide individual and family therapy for assigned caseload within the Highland Area School District (elementary, middle, high school levels)
Maintain clinical documentation in a timely and compliant manner
Travel to appointment sites, schools, or other required locations as outlined in program requirements
Adhere to state and local regulatory requirements pertaining to school‑based mental health services
Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners to support clients
