About The Position

We are seeking a School Aged Childcare Staff to join our team at Clay County YMCA in CLAY. As a School Aged Childcare Staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and intellectual growth. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of attendance, medication administration, and incident reports. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our program meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• Experience working with school-aged children
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to plan and implement activities and maintain accurate records
• Strong understanding of child development and be able to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes growth and learning
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure that our program meets the highest standards of quality and safety

Nice To Haves

• CPR / First Aid certified
