About The Position

This role supports our school-age program. During the summer, this is a full-time position. During the school year, this is a split-shift position supporting before and after school care. The position involves helping with school-age activities, games, projects, and daily routines, supporting children during meals, transitions, outdoor play, and group activities, supervising children during before and after school care, helping with summer field trips and school-age events, keeping classrooms, buses, and activity areas clean, organized, and safe, providing positive guidance and support to children, communicating with team members and families as needed, and driving children to and from school or scheduled field trips as needed.

Requirements

  • Available Monday through Friday
  • Full-time availability during the Summer
  • Split-shift availability during the school year or willing to help in other classrooms full time
  • Able to work within our hours of 6:00 am to 6:30 pm as scheduled
  • Willing to support where needed
  • Show up on time and stay for your full shift
  • Comfortable being active throughout the day and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to safely drive a large sized vehicle for school-age children
  • Patient, caring, and dependable
  • Enjoys working with school-age children
  • Able to stay organized and handle a busy environment
  • At least 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Food Handler Permit
  • First Aid and CPR, or willing to get certified
  • Willing to complete required child care training
