About The Position

Bar-T is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as School Age Teachers. We provide before and after school childcare in Montgomery County elementary schools, as well as summer day camp programs. Our goal is to create a fun, safe environment where children can grow and develop. We value a happy workplace and happy kids.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 19 years old
• Applicants must possess their 90HR Certification (School Age Development and School Age Methods and Materials)
• Applicants must be able to transport themselves to and from all scheduled shifts

Nice To Haves

• If you completed a child development program during high school, you may qualify for a 90HR certificate or a 45 hour certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise children at all times, to maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with all staff members, office/management staff, customers, school staff, parents, and children.
• Present a professional and positive image.
• Engage and with children at all times in a respectful positive manner.
• Create and implement age appropriate clubs, theme days, and games.
• Participate in and promote Bar-T events and activities at your center.
