About The Position

As a daycare teacher, you'll be shaping a child's future and making an impact. Our preschool teachers play a crucial role in the safety, education, and childcare of our children. The Sunshine House has a 50-year legacy of love and early childhood learning. This position is located at 6889 Cliffdale Road Fayetteville, NC 28314.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Willingness to drive a 14-passenger minibus (no CDL required).
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and work while standing.
Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
BSAC training required.
Previous experience as a teacher at a licensed childcare center required.

Responsibilities

Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.
Safely transport children to/from area elementary schools and field trips in a small bus.
Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.
Complete safety checks and drills.
