About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Programs for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves working with children aged 5-12, facilitating hands-on activities, and providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment. The schedule follows the school calendar, with opportunities available for morning (7:00-9:00 am), afternoon (2:15-6:00 pm), or both programs. This part-time, non-exempt position is ideal for individuals who love working with children, are reliable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
