About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at Mason Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt position follows the school calendar, with opportunities available for the morning program (7:00 - 8:45 am), the afternoon program (3:15 - 6:00 pm), or both. The ideal candidate loves working with children, brings energy, kindness, and patience, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. This role requires teamwork, effective communication with families, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
• Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
