About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our After School Program at our Netherwood Elementary School in Hyde Park, NY location for the 2026–2027 school year. This role follows the school calendar and offers opportunities for morning, afternoon, or both programs. The ideal candidate loves working with children, brings energy, kindness, and patience, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. This position requires working well with teammates and communicating effectively with families, while also being reliable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional care.

Requirements

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
• Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
• Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat.
• Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
• Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model.
• Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
• Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
• Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
• Ensure records are accurate and current.
• Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
• Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
• Ensure restocking happens before it becomes a problem.
