About The Position

Westfield Preparatory High School, located in Redford Charter Township, MI, opened in 2019 and serves 880+ students in 7th-12th grade. This is a year-round salaried position. The Scheduling Registrar will be responsible for maintaining required records in the student information system for compliance regulations, processing class changes, and managing the school's master schedule with annual class setup for all students. Additionally, this role will act as a liaison between the people services department and new hires, communicating new hire information, sending paperwork, and managing the substitute teacher process.

Requirements

  • Associates degree and/or 2-4 years of administrative experience.
  • Proficient on PC and MS office based programs.
  • Multi-tasker, detail-oriented, and prove strong organizational practices.
  • Customer-focused attitude – respond to parent inquiries and complaints.
  • Strong communication skills – being able to work effectively with students, staff and parents.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a school office.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
