About The Position

This role manages and optimizes provider scheduling templates, protocols, and workflows to improve patient access, maximize provider productivity, and support efficient clinic operations. The position works extensively within the EMR to develop, maintain, and monitor provider schedules, department builds, and scheduling-related processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and patient safety. Common challenges include balancing provider availability, patient demand, operational priorities, and schedule changes while minimizing disruptions to patient care. The Scheduling Project Analyst collaborates closely with providers, clinic leaders, schedulers, IT teams, and operational stakeholders to implement scheduling best practices and support organizational access goals. Work is primarily project- and data-driven, requiring ongoing analysis of scheduling trends, development of process improvements, training support, and management of multiple priorities and deadlines.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience working with clinic schedules, provider templates, provider protocols, department builds, and Excellian reports
  • Scheduling workflow optimization expertise

  • Graduate of an accredited four college or university
