About The Position

The Scheduling Coordinator at HOMECARE COMPANY OF TENNESSEE LLC is responsible for managing and coordinating the staffing needs of the organization to ensure that all clients receive the highest quality of care. This role involves scheduling, recruiting, and maintaining a pool of qualified caregivers to meet the dynamic needs of our clients while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a staffing or human resources support role, preferably within the healthcare or homecare industry.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing multiple staffing assignments and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and staff at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with technology and software tools related to staffing coordination.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations as they pertain to staffing and recruitment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR databases is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling of caregivers to ensure optimal coverage and continuity of care for clients.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new caregivers to maintain an adequate pool of qualified staff.
  • Collaborate with management to assess staffing needs and develop strategies to address any gaps.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee schedules, availability, and certifications.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for caregivers regarding scheduling, assignments, and any staffing-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to staffing and employment.
  • Monitor caregiver performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Address and resolve any staffing issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staffing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in regular meetings with management to provide updates on staffing activities and discuss any challenges or improvements needed.
