The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing the visit schedule, tracking staff availability, and ensuring adequate coverage for client needs. This role involves recruitment assistance, new hire orientation and training, and participating in employee coaching and discipline. The coordinator also handles shift replacements, verifies weekend schedules, and finds appropriate staff for individual clients. When on-call, they are responsible for finding staff replacements and maintaining logs of events, employee availability, and client concerns. The position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to resolve client concerns effectively. The coordinator must also ensure adherence to all organizational policies and procedures, maintain compliance with federal/state licensure requirements, and assist with surveys.
