About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team. The Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in creating an outstanding patient experience by managing appointments, coordinating treatment schedules, verifying insurance benefits, and serving as a trusted resource for patients and parents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of dental front office experience required
• Strong understanding of dental terminology
• Experience with insurance verification
• Experience presenting or coordinating treatment plans
• Scheduling experience in a dental office
• Basic knowledge of dental billing and coding
• Comfortable handling financial transactions
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Seeking a long-term, full-time position

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Greet, check in, and check out patients and families
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage information
• Assist with treatment coordination and scheduling
• Create and send emails to patients, specialists, and referring offices
• Generate reports within dental practice management software
• Scan and organize patient documents
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and parents
• Interact comfortably with individuals of all ages, especially children
