Develops and implements production schedules based on customer orders and capacity, analyzing resources, lead times, and capabilities. Monitors production progress to ensure on-time delivery. Serves as a liaison between customers and the company, handling inquiries, orders, complaints, and account issues while maintaining professionalism and fostering positive relationships Role and Responsibilities Forecasts production orders from work authorization. Revises all short lead time orders for raw materials available. Reviews all MRP to produce requisitions. Interacts with purchasing to ensure all components are ordered in a timely manner. Interacts and coordinate with Customers concerning future customer orders. Coordinates with production floor as it relates to last minute changes in schedule. Assists with finished inventory and maintains files of documents used and prepared. Sorts as and distributes documentation or material to workers. Writes production demand reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed. Schedule orders, including resolving purchase order discrepancies and communicating changes. Implement changes to sales orders. Review engineering change notices (ECNs) on orders in process and notify customers. Communicate with the customer during the placement and acceptance of the order. Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
