About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Scheduler in Hodges, SC. The rate for this position is $22.83 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The Scheduler is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production by coordinating materials, production schedules, and order execution in alignment with Standard Work and customer requirements. By actively participating in production activities, leveraging manufacturing systems, and adhering to safety standards, the Scheduler is a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. This role develops and manages daily and weekly production plans, ensures materials are available to meet hourly production goals, and monitors schedule performance while driving timely corrective actions. The Scheduler will work cross-functionally with production, material control, and customer service teams to communicate order and material status, supports expediting and warranty needs, and proactively addresses changes or shortages. Ensure compliance with customer requirements by producing high-quality products safely, on time, and in accordance with Standard Work. Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and shipping commitments. Coordinate material availability and flow to support hourly production targets; monitor schedule attainment and drive corrective actions as needed. Manage inventory movements, including requisitioning materials from the storeroom and returning excess materials to the warehouse. Communicate order status, material availability, and production updates with supervisors, material control, production teams, customer service, and expeditors. Participate in cross-functional production meetings and use systems (e.g., DMM, AS400, Material Synchronization tools) to track, audit, and maintain accurate production and inventory data. Support customer warranty and expedite requests, including reallocating finished goods to meet order priorities. Adjust schedules to address production changes, disruptions, or material shortages while adhering to all safety policies and performing additional duties as needed. Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. and pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodation. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of the Hodges, SC facility.
  • Basic knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and scheduling principles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate across production, materials, and customer service teams
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production disruptions or material shortages
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in scheduling and inventory tracking
  • Ability to analyze data and monitor production performance metrics
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing production demands

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production scheduling, materials planning, or a related environment
  • Experience in a high-volume or lean manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Standard Work, continuous improvement, or Lean/Kaizen principles
  • Prior experience coordinating materials or managing production schedules
  • Exposure to material synchronization or inventory tracking systems
  • Experience working with ERP or manufacturing systems (e.g., AS400, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
