The company has an opening for a Scheduler to join their team in the Denver, CO area. The Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling activities for multiple disciplines or crafts, with required experience in capital projects, turnarounds/outages, or daily maintenance scheduling. The candidate may be asked to schedule Maintenance, Turnarounds, Small Capital Projects, or a combination of the three.
Requirements
- Relevant experience with scheduling activities for multiple disciplines or crafts.
- Experience in capital projects, turnarounds/ outages, or daily maintenance scheduling is required.
- Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience.
- Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
- Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures.
- Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
- Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
- Coordinate total estimating effort relevant to a particular bid/project as assigned.
- Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimates figures.
- Interface with owner, A/E, and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility.
- Follow awarded contracts as assigned - may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits; procuring material, etc.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
