The company is seeking a Scheduler to join their team in the Denver, CO area. This role requires relevant experience with scheduling activities for multiple disciplines or crafts, specifically in capital projects, turnarounds/outages, or daily maintenance scheduling. The candidate may be asked to schedule Maintenance, Turnarounds, Small Capital Projects, or a combination of the three.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience with scheduling activities for multiple disciplines or crafts
  • Experience in capital projects, turnarounds/outages, or daily maintenance scheduling is required
  • Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience
  • Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
  • Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures
  • Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
  • Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work
  • Coordinate total estimating effort relevant to a particular bid/project as assigned
  • Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimates figures
  • Interface with owner, A/E, and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility
  • Follow awarded contracts as assigned - may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits; procuring material, etc.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
