Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 3+ years of project scheduling experience preferred; experience supporting EPC, construction, or mission-critical projects is a plus.
  • Working proficiency with Primavera P6; experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC), strong skills in MS Excel and MS Office Suite; familiarity with CPM scheduling concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills; ability to collaborate across disciplines and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • PMI-SP, PMP, or AACE PSP (or progress toward certification).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed schedules in Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) and Primavera P6 across all project phases (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
  • Build and update activity logic, calendars, constraints, and codes to align with established scheduling standards.
  • Support critical path and near-critical path analysis by identifying drivers, float trends, and schedule sensitivities.
  • Collect schedule inputs from project managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors; validate completeness and incorporate updates.
  • Maintain baseline and current schedules in accordance with project controls procedures, including documentation of changes.
  • Update schedules using weekly progress reports, field updates, procurement status, and approved change events.
  • Run routine schedule quality checks (missing logic, constraints, out-of-sequence progress, negative float) and flag issues for resolution.
  • Prepare schedule reports and visuals (Gantt charts, milestone trackers, look-aheads) for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with variance analysis versus baseline and help identify corrective actions with the project team.
  • Support reporting deliverables using MS Office and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI) as directed.
  • Participate in schedule review meetings and working sessions; capture action items and follow up on schedule-related requests.
  • Support integration of vendor/subcontractor schedules into the project schedule and help maintain alignment to contractual milestones.
  • Maintain schedule documentation and audit trail (assumptions, basis of schedule inputs, change logs) in accordance with team procedures.
  • Assist with Earned Value Management (EVM) and project controls reporting, as applicable, including time-phased progress updates.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and maintain confidentiality of proprietary and project information.
