Homewatch CareGivers of Cape May is seeking a dedicated Caregiver Scheduler to manage caregiver schedules and ensure our team provides exceptional care to clients in their homes. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comprehensive knowledge of caregiver responsibilities and relevant licensing standards.
  • Proficient in scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively in various formats.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large amounts of information.
  • Must pass all background screenings with satisfactory results.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Atlantic and Cape May County area.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in scheduling or administrative roles in healthcare is preferred but necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule caregiver shifts according to client needs and caregiver availability.
  • Maintain accurate records of caregiver assignments and communicate schedule changes effectively.
  • Answer office phone calls and facilitate connections between caregivers and clients.
  • Develop knowledge of caregivers’ skills to ensure effective matching with clients.
  • Ensure schedules are current and make necessary adjustments as required.
  • Input data into scheduling software and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding efforts for new caregivers.
  • If CHHA certified, fill in for caregivers when necessary and be available for on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties required to maintain the agency’s operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
