About The Position

Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living is seeking a dependable and organized Full-Time Scheduler / Resident Assistant to join their team. This role combines administrative scheduling responsibilities with hands-on resident care, supporting both team members and residents. The position involves three days per week as the Scheduler and two days per week working on the floor as a Resident Assistant, with every other weekend availability required. This is an opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy coordinating schedules and have a passion for providing compassionate care to seniors.

  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position, including assisting residents with mobility needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous scheduling, staffing, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred.
  • Experience as a caregiver or Resident Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Coordinate staffing needs, including call-offs, replacements, and schedule adjustments.
  • Communicate schedule updates with team members and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and assist with staffing coordination.
  • Support daily operations by ensuring the right team members are available when needed.
  • Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Support residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
  • Respond to resident needs and requests in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Assist with meals, activities, and other resident care needs.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition to appropriate team members.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
