Requirements

Five years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling
Previous data entry/typing experience
Knowledge of basic office equipment
Computer experience
Must be proficient in Word/Excel and EMR
Good organizational skills
Experience with multi-line telephone system

Responsibilities

Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls
Provides a complete explanation of testing instructions and preparations
Schedules services, ensuring all aspects of appointments are appropriate and accurate, including patient demographics and appointment details.
Obtains and records patient insurance, prescription, referral and other financial clinical documents
Verifies insurance eligibility and ensures that insurance requirements are met prior to delivery of service.
