About The Position

This role supports commercial scheduling activities with a focus on renewable feedstocks, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of product while collaborating across internal and external partners to optimize assets and meet business objectives. The Commercial organization works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration. Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations. Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC. Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, scheduling, logistics, or related commercial operations
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Ability to work extended or non-standard hours as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience scheduling renewable feedstocks or energy-related products
  • Knowledge of rail movements, transload operations, and sustainability or chain-of-custody requirements
  • Experience working with suppliers, contracts, and performance metrics
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and implement solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of trucking, transloading, or logistics operations
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage renewable feedstock trucking and logistics from origin to destination, ensuring safe and timely movements aligned with operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain weekly transportation schedules, monitoring weather and traffic impacts and communicating changes proactively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Refining, Commercial, Midstream, sustainability, and external partners to optimize supply and demand.
  • Manage required documentation, support regulatory compliance, and ensure accurate financial and inventory reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement while supporting reliable, efficient commercial scheduling operations.
