About The Position
Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a Scheduler in our Prior Authorization department. We are looking for those who have a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Associates Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures at the level needed to perform responsibilities.
- Proficient knowledge of major health plans and insurance processes.
- Ability to compute mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, professional and friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Obtaining prior authorizations and scheduling of testing
- Securing specialty referrals
- Authorizations for surgical procedures
