About The Position
Cancer Care Northwest is seeking a full-time Radiation Scheduler to join their team. This role is responsible for efficiently scheduling patient appointments and tests, acting as a liaison between patients and medical staff, and handling new patient referrals. The scheduler will also obtain necessary pre-certifications and manage appointment cancellations and reschedules.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Three (3) years of office experience

Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and tests in an efficient and timely manner.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff.
- Schedule outpatient appointments, referrals, testing, hospital surgeries, and hospital admissions.
- Obtain necessary pre-certification as required.
- Schedule return appointments in the computer system according to physician and/or office guidelines.
- Cancel/reschedule appointments according to physician schedule changes and office guidelines, notifying appropriate clinic personnel.
- Handle new patient referrals, gather necessary information, register new patients in the computer, and schedule appointments.
