The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget and census, adhering to current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations for long-term care and assisted living facilities. This position is delegated the necessary administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for assigned duties. Additionally, the role involves assisting residents with scheduling, loading, transporting, and unloading for medical appointments and scheduled outings in compliance with all laws and regulations.
