Scheduler - Cardiology
About The Position
We are hiring a Full Time Scheduler for our Saint Luke's North Cardiology Clinic! The Scheduler coordinates and schedules complex patient appointments, procedures, tests, and other services within a healthcare facility. The responsibilities of this position include scheduling appointments, coordinating services, verifying insurance, and ensuring all pre-emptive appointment requirements have been obtained. The Scheduler must acquire and apply enhanced knowledge of assigned clinical area to support assessment of patient appointment needs based on the review of provider notes and application of specialty/department guidelines. The Scheduler routinely collaborates with clinic staff, leadership, and providers and exemplifies the core values of the health system by providing exceptional customer service to all patients.
Requirements
- 2 years of applicable experience
- Organized with strong customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
