Scenic Project Artist
About The Position
The Production Artist is responsible for working with complex digital files for large-format and 4-color process printing to produce signage, collateral reprints and/or specialty pieces and ad resizes. This role involves modifying or revising complex digital files to ensure they RIP and print correctly on various media. The Production Artist will collaborate with Creative supervisors to establish complete layouts and resolve design and production timelines, generate high-quality comps for presentation, manage a high-volume workload, and ensure efficient and timely completion of jobs. A thorough understanding of the department's job process and procedures is essential.
Requirements
- 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in a related field required
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Responsibilities
- Modify or revise complex digital files that RIP correctly and print properly for a variety of media
- Work with Creative supervisors to create a complete layout and resolve design and production timelines
- Generate high quality comps for presentation or review
- Prioritize a high-volume workload and follow-up on jobs
- Work efficiently and quickly to meet deadlines
- Utilize production knowledge to create clean and accurate files
- Fully understand department job process and procedures
