About The Position
Employees of the scene shop will be responsible for the realization of all scenery and lighting designs for Mercer University Theatre. In short, we create magic and illusions four shows a year. Employees will work hard, have fun, and get dirty.
Requirements
- Perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
- Work with all manner of power tools, including saws
- Perform their job while strictly following safety rules
- Commit to a work schedule for the semester
Nice To Haves
- Theatre majors
- Plan to be a theatre major
- Looking to be involved for the theatre for fun
- Have construction experience
- Occasionally work on Saturdays as needed
- Be open to learning new things
