About The Position
This is a seasonal position with our Loud and Live Events Division based out of the venue site in Doral, FL (Tropical Park). We’re looking for high-energy, creative, and fearless performers to join our haunted event team. You’ll transform into terrifying characters inside our 5 haunted houses and 2 scare zones, creating unforgettable scares for thousands of guests.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and late hours during the Halloween season.
- Ability to stand, crouch, and move for long periods of time.
- Must thrive in dark, fog-filled, loud, and high-energy environments.
- Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
- Must enjoy Halloween, horror, and making people scream!
Nice To Haves
- Acting, improv, or performance background is a plus (but not required).
Responsibilities
- Perform as a character in haunted houses and outdoor scare zones.
- Bring monsters, ghosts, and original characters to life through movement, sounds, and interaction.
- Deliver safe yet effective scares while keeping guests engaged.
- Work closely with fellow actors, house leads, and event managers to maintain flow and energy throughout the night.
- Follow all safety protocols to keep yourself and guests safe in dark, foggy, and loud environments.
- Be prepared to rotate between different houses/zones and characters as needed.
