About The Position

Independence Title in Austin, Texas (Shepherd Mountain Cove Office – Main Office), a wholly owned subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is seeking a fulltime Scan Operations Clerk. Anywhere Integrated Services is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Requirements

A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to do repetitive tasks consistently and efficiently
Comfortable with basic computer systems and office equipment
Able to stand, bend, and lift for long periods (ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.)
Well-organized person, with a good work ethic, strong attention to detail, great attendance, and punctuality.
Must work well in a fast paced environment and within very tight timeframes.
Must be a team player, supportive respectful of other team members

Responsibilities

Prepare files for scanning by removing staples, clips, and other fasteners
Print barcodes, organize file contents, and insert barcodes in the correct places
Feed prepared files into the scanner and scan documents into our title production system (TPS)
Check scanned images for quality and completeness, and rescan as needed
Store scanned files securely and get them ready for shredding under company retention procedures
Keep the work area clean and organized, and keep files moving through each stage of the workflow
Protect the confidentiality of sensitive customer and transaction documents at all times
Lift, move, and carry boxes of files as needed (up to 30 lbs.)
Perform other duties as assigned
