About The Position

MCR Safety, a Bunzl company, is now hiring for a first shift Scan Checker. The Scan Checker is responsible for verifying quantities pulled by order pullers. They will work to ensure quantities pulled are accurate with their RF scanner while also processing and loading orders onto the UPS/FED EX ground trailers. They will also be responsible for scan checking LTL shipments when needed. They will also need to be cross trained in order puller duties and equipment such as the electric pallet jack. Requirements

  • Overtime will be required based on business needs
  • Must have basic math skills; and be computer savvy
  • Ability perform the essential functions of the job with our without accommodation
  • Experience working in a Warehouse
  • Must be able to work in Piperton, TN in a shift from Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Nice To Haves

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required
  • Warehouse experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Verify order quantities with RF scanner to ensure all deliveries are accurate before processing through the freight system.
  • Load trailers after processing deliveries through the system.
  • Operate pallet jack when needed.
  • Ensure excess Inventory is staged for replacement into inventory at end of shift.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
  • Comply with Company safety training methods and OSHA / MSDS Standards.
  • Ground deliveries must be processed and loaded by end of shift; Errors must be reported to management to adjust inventory.
