Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED ) preferred
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.

Responsibilities

• Forms infold carton and positions on scale platform for packing.
• Neatly packs carton with layers of sheeted bacon.
• Scales to proper weight. If overwight , removes bacon until acceptable limit is obtained. If underweight, neatly adds weight slices until acceptable.
• Adds cover sheet and folds cover.
• Sets aside carton to conveyor.
• Properly packs and scales bacon.
• Monitors scale tare for correct setting and keeps area clean.
• In downgrade position, inspect bacon slices to meet specific standards for various orders as set by leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
