In this role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing trucks and issuing tickets to drivers and customers. Requirements

Computer knowledge and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task, are required.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, and all co-workers required.
Knowledge of products and its application.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.

Responsibilities

Weigh trucks.
Price quotes for residential phone customers.
Ensure scale ticket information is correct.
Communicate with foremen throughout the day to facilitate their changing needs in products required, as well as any changes in jobs and /or phases.
Deal with customers on the phone in a courteous manner with respect to products, availability of trucks and scheduling.
Test scale monthly and report results.
Set up new trucks in computer with proper gross weight information in accordance with SPIF, and email information to Admin.
Print daily reports to verify cash, debit and credit card transactions.
Relay any customer concerns or complaints.
Monitoring of vehicles and persons entering the premises.
Maintenance of scale and scale house as required, eg: cleaning, snow removal, etc.
Oversee automated scales at alternate locations.
