About The Position

This position is responsible for dispatching company/lease drivers, weighing incoming loads and maintaining required documentation while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Scale House Operator (Dispatcher) will coordinate pick up all raw product between drivers and the plants, weigh all incoming product and maintain communication with the drivers and the plants.

Requirements

Must be willing to work A, B, C or D shift
Applicants must be 18 years of age
Must be able to communicate with customers and plants
Basic understanding of math
Basic understanding of DOT logs
Ability to complete any required documentation for all loads
Must have a current Arkansas Driver’s License
Must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment
Ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations
Ability to document information
Ability to communicate with others written and verbally
Must have at least 3 months of work history within the past 24 months
Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
Must pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment
Must complete the final task separate from the application
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
