About The Position
Clearlake Waste Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a safety conscious Scale House Attendant to join our team at the Lakeport Transfer Station in Lakeport, CA! The schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00am-4:30pm. Starting pay will be $21.00/hour. The pay range for this job category will be $21-$21.20/hour.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a customer service type position
- Cash handling experience
- The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating equipment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers as they enter the transfer station, directing them where to go
- Confirming type of material in each load, taking measurements of truck beds to ensure accurate load size to process payment
- Cash handling and data entry
- Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing
- General site cleanup as needed
- Friendly customer service
- Other manual laborer duties as needed
