About The Position

That's why Sil Industrial Minerals is Western Canada's leader in industrial sands, blasting abrasives and equipment. Sil Industrial Minerals is now hiring a Scalehouse Attendent /Dispatcher for our sand plant near Bruderheim, AB. The rate is $25.13 per hour. Shifts for this role are nights and weekends. The plant operates on a 24 hour, 7 day a week schedule. This is NOT a camp position. Candidates must live in the area.
Requirements
- Experience dispatching is required
- Positive and professional attitude is required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work individually, as well as on a team
- Ability to manage stress in a constantly changing work environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and work independently

- Aggregate experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the scheduling of drivers, trucks, and freight between locations.
- Scale loads and identify product correctly prior to invoicing.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, drivers, and coworkers.
- Preparing quotes, invoicing, preparing payroll, and filing on a day to day basis.
