Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform accurate measurements.
• Experience operating weighing scales or similar equipment in a transportation or warehousing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and external personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain weighing scales to measure the weight of trucks, cargo, and shipments accurately.
• Record and verify weight data, ensuring all entries are precise and comply with company and legal standards.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management to coordinate the flow of goods.
• Inspect shipments for compliance with weight limits and report any irregularities or safety concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of scale equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Prepare and file documentation related to weights, shipments, and transactions for auditing and billing purposes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to transportation and warehousing operations.
