About The Position

We are hiring a Part-Time Scale Attendant / POS Team Member to cover Saturdays and Sundays (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM). This role runs the scale house independently, managing customer transactions and traffic flow in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be the face of the operation on weekends—helping customers, answering phones, and keeping everything moving smoothly. This is a working compost facility, so expect vehicle traffic, dust, noise, and a true hands-on environment —not a desk job.

Requirements

• Strong customer service experience
• Point-of-sale (POS) or cash handling experience
• Ability to stay organized while multitasking (traffic + phones + transactions)
• Comfortable working independently in an active, industrial environment
• Positive, upbeat attitude with the public
