Scaffold Truck Driver
About The Position
This role involves operating company vehicles with a capacity of up to 30 tons to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from various work locations. The driver will support construction and maintenance activities and may also deliver operating materials and supplies between warehouses. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles, adhering to all safety rules and procedures, and wearing required personal safety equipment. The position reports to the Foreman or General Foreman and requires planning work activities based on instructions and documentation.
Requirements
- Requires appropriate license.
- Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations.
- Delivers operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another.
- Loads and unloads vehicles.
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
- Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.
- Performs other duties and activities as directed.
