About The Position
Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder - Leadman to supervise in the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures. This role requires working at heights with no fear and ensuring all safety and company requirements are met. The Leadman will also be responsible for inspecting and stowing scaffolding materials after dismantling and performing final inspections of completed scaffolding.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
- 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.

Responsibilities
- Supervise in the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
- Determine the type of scaffold needed and instruct on proper installation.
- Oversee the transport of tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold.
- Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structures.
- Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
- Secure scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
- Adhere to all OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for scaffolding.
- Supervise the dismantling of scaffolding.
- Inspect and properly stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
- Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
