About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter to join their team. This role involves assisting in the management of scaffolding materials on job sites, preparing materials for shipment, and mentoring junior team members. Requirements
- Scaffold E/D Helper 2 for a minimum of 1 year or approved equivalent experience
- Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
- Must have a general knowledge of the different types and sizes of scaffolding materials being used
- Must have the proper tools
- Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
Nice To Haves
- Some trade school preferred but not required
- Bilingual a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in the stacking and counting of scaffolding materials being received on the job site or being shipped from the job site.
- Prepare material to be shipped.
- Assist the Lead Carpenter and/or Foreman by acting as a mentor and coach to the E/D Helpers 1 and 2 to aid in their development.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding under the supervision of the Foreman and/or Lead Carpenter.
