About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter to support scaffolding operations at job sites. The role assists with stacking and counting scaffolding materials received at or shipped from a job site and preparing materials for shipment. It also supports the Lead Carpenter and/or Foreman by mentoring and coaching E/D Helpers 1 and 2 to aid their development. The position involves erecting and dismantling scaffolding under the supervision of the Foreman and/or Lead Carpenter, and may require working indoors or outdoors and at considerable heights.

Requirements

• Scaffold E/D Helper 2 experience for a minimum of 1 year or approved equivalent experience.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materials.
• General knowledge of the different types and sizes of scaffolding materials being used.
• Must have the proper tools.
• Able to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 40 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school education.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities
