About The Position
Turner Industries Group is looking for experienced Scaffold Builders for maintenance work in the Gregory, TX area. This is a permanent position with a schedule of 44+ hours per week, with occasional overtime. Candidates must be able to pass a craft test or hold an NCCER Certified/Plus credential, as well as a drug test and background check.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass craft test or hold NCCER Certified/Plus credential
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- High school or equivalent
- One to four years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level)
- Ability to read engineered drawings preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspects surface for holes, objects and levelness.
- Assembles scaffold consisting of guardrails, mid-rails, braces, planks, toe boards, screens and wheels.
- Positions scaffold by rolling it into place.
- Secures scaffold to permanent structure by tying.
