About The Position

Sky Climber Access Solutions is looking for a Scaffold Builder in our Houston area location. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the ability to work at heights. The role involves the installation and erection of various types of scaffolds on customer sites, as well as warehouse duties and vehicle loading/unloading. Hours are typically Monday-Friday, 7 am - 4 pm, but may vary by workload. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Requirements

• Have the ability to carry two 50# weights at one time
• Be comfortable with physical work that requires climbing stairs and ladders frequently
• Be comfortable working at heights
• Extensive experience in erecting swing and supported scaffolds
• Good working knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding scaffolding
• Minimum 2 years of experience building various scaffolding types at a reputable company
• MUST NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!!!

Responsibilities

• Carrying / installing / erecting rigging suspended and supported scaffold on customer sites
• Loading / unloading trucks in warehouse
• Hoist, assembly, and disassembly of platforms
• Uncoiling and lowering both electrical cord and wire ropes
• Deliveries – including loading and unloading of vehicle climbing onto and off flat bed trucks
• Work with team to safely and efficiently erect and dismantle various types of scaffolds
• Complete required job site and internal paperwork requirements daily
• Other duties as assigned
