About The Position
The client is seeking a SCADA Systems Specialist for a remote role, primarily serving systems integrators in the alarm management industry. The specialist will be responsible for installing and configuring the client's software to enable alarm notifications via various channels such as text/SMS, email, phone, and Teams. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent, open to candidates in the East or Central Time Zones.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of systems integrators.
- Ability to work with multiple SCADA systems (AVEVA InTouch, AVEVA Systems Platform, AVEVA/Schneider Electric PlantSCADA- Citect, AVEVA/Schneider Electric GEO SCADA- ClearSCADA, GE iFIX, FactoryTalk, etc.).
- Knowledge of SCADA alarming systems.
- Knowledge of alarm notification software (TopView or Win911).
- Experience with SCADA Scripting and/or coding.
- Troubleshooting experience.
- Background with networking (clients and servers).
- Knowledge of software install procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong background working with customers.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure client's software for alarm notifications.
- Ensure alarms can be sent via text/SMS/email/phone/Teams.
- Provide SCADA work for systems integrators.
- Assist with customer support and quoting.
- Configure SCADA test environments.
- Help the team learn more about SCADA.
- Troubleshoot SCADA systems.
