Energy Transfer is seeking a SCADA Associate Specialist to perform system support and maintenance for a pipeline SCADA system. This role involves learning and adhering to department and project standards, understanding team roles and goals, and reporting status to management, team members, and clients under direct supervision. The specialist will acquire knowledge of available tools and procedures, including databases and graphical displays for control center operations. They will collaborate with the Engineering Department, CRM, and Control Center on projects to integrate remote field sites into the SCADA system, determining necessary points. The role includes participating in detailed CAT and point-to-point testing to meet regulatory requirements, and working with the Network group to configure and test communications between the SCADA System and remote automation devices. Additionally, the specialist will assist field technicians in troubleshooting data and communication issues in a real-time environment and provide 24x7 support to the Control Center on a rotational basis. Documenting changes, obtaining approvals, and submitting them are also key responsibilities, along with performing other duties as required.
