This position will support SCADA processes and OT Infrastructure for MPL assets. Our preferred location is Findlay, OH and consideration may be given to San Antonio, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or other related discipline required.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience required.
  • Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

  • Designs, edits, and builds SCADA screens to support evolving operational needs.
  • Updates the SCADA database with new or modified operations functions.
  • Performs point-to-point verification with field technicians to validate SCADA configurations.
  • Accurately documents control environment changes in alignment with the Management of Change (MOC) process.
  • Assists field teams with control system troubleshooting by providing timely SCADA data and insights.
  • Maintains SCADA infrastructure and ensures compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of the MPL SCADA system and provides rotational 24x7 on-call support to the Operations Center.
  • Designs, tests and implements custom programming within the SCADA environment to allow for automation and control of pipeline assets
  • Develops and maintains robust interfaces to critical systems that are required to utilize SCADA data for pipeline operations
